Heather is an attractive trophy wife in her mid-thirties, she is a stay at home mother of three young kids. She is incredibly frustrated with their marriage and Kris’s irresponsible decisions. She signed up for a secure and entitled lifestyle, but Kris has managed to jeopardize her vision of happiness. She demands that Kris find a stable job and be more responsible with his finances and life. This is not what she had in mind when they got married and started a family.

Being home alone with three young kids, along with the uncertainty of their future adds a lot of distrust and animosity in their relationship. Heather has valid concerns regarding Kris’s dream and music career, but over time we realize the most important thing to her is money. Nothing would be more tragic in Heather’s mind than having to get a job and contribute in any way possible.

Kris and Derek met while attending private high school on the Upper East Side. They have remained close friends ever since. Derek comes from an affluent family and has been navigating elite social circles from NY to LA since he was a teen. Derek epitomizes the true meaning of bachelor. Kris and Derek had many fun adventures together when they were young, but that has changed since Kris is married with kids. Wisely, Kris tries to keep his distance from certain situations that Derek is able to facilitate.

Derek never had a real job (why would he?), and couldn’t understand the stress that comes with providing for a family. Derek doesn’t have a wife and kids and has plenty of means. Even with this ideal lifestyle of having everything (and anyone), Derek is lonely down deep inside. Ironically, Kris is somewhat jealous of the life that Derek leads, and Derek is jealous of Kris’s life.

What appears to be a genuine friend ‘looking out for his boy’, turns into a scandalous relationship between Derek and Kris’s wife Heather. Derek decides to make his move when she is most vulnerable.

Larry is a PR executive in LA and Las Vegas. Kris and Larry are best friends but Larry gets very frustrated with Kris because he always asks him for ridiculous favors to help advance his ‘career’.

Larry wants to help but usually can’t due to Kris’s over the top requests. Once in a long while Larry pulls through with hooking up an event or press opportunity for his good yet annoying friend.

Dom is an old school, locally connected Coney Island hot shot. Dom randomly saw one of Kris’s music videos on YouTube and has turned into a big “fan”.

Dom sees Kris at Gargiulos italian restaurant one afternoon and decides he wants to help. He spontaneously gives Kris $20,000 and tells him to go “make something happen kid”. Kris reluctantly accepts his offer, Kris knows Dom never gives anyone money without expecting it back and then some.

Dom transforms from a light hearted, good natured father figure to a ruthless thug who will eventually always get his way.

Dom has two right hand men, Bennett and Dan. They are his muscle and help him collect when the time is right. These guys love to eat, drink and laugh but are the enforcers.

Dan makes Kris aware that Dom is going to need his money back soon plus 30%. Dom, Uncle Bennett and Dan Danger all go to Vegas to shake Krispy down and get Dom’s loot back.

Breeze is a big time hip hop mogul. Kris was introduced to Breeze by Derek.

Breeze does not take Krispy seriously as a rapper. He actually laughs at Kris’s attempts at the music industry.

Kris, Larry and Ramin have been best friends since childhood. Ramin doesn’t live in NYC anymore but gives Kris great advice with music, fashion and his personal life. Ramin tries his best to help his friend get to the top, he is very supportive unlike everyone else in Kris’s life.

Matthew finds Kris work on occasion. Matthew knows Derek as well and knows that Derek sometimes pulls Kris away from immediate responsibilities for possible social opportunities.
